In addition, strip meters will be installed as part of tenant fit-out to provide sub-metering for tenant billing.

The Central Energy Plant provides cooling to the entire NSU campus. This 46,505 ft2 building will eventually house five 2,300 ton chillers, a 68,000 ton-hour ice-based thermal energy storage plant (one of the largest in the U.S.), and corresponding equipment. Flexim Ultra-Sonic Flow & BTU Meters and Temperature Sensors are installed throughout the plant, monitored by utiliVisor, which provides real-time monitoring of the flow and temperature through the HVAC equipment to maximize the plant efficiency.
