Value Delivered

Hill York provided pre-construction design-assist services to help Kolter Urban budget, design, and build the largest building in Fort Lauderdale. This iconic building stands approximately 500’ tall and was Fort Lauderdale first new condominium residence in over a decade.

We leveraged Building Information Modeling (BIM) and design technology to lower construction costs by 5 percent without lowering industry standards.

BIM integrates structured, multi-disciplinary data to produce a digital representation of an asset across its lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and operations.

Client Objectives

The client was building the newest and tallest building in a busy downtown area and needed complete independent HVAC mechanical systems for both the hotel and condominium sections of the facility.

  • Chilled water HVAC system for the hotel
  • Condensed water HVAC system for the condominium
  • 10,000 linear feet of fabricated piping
